NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its prediction team for autonomous driving solutions. This role involves developing and productizing cutting-edge prediction modules responsible for generating multi-modal scene-consistent predictions for road participants. The engineer will focus on enhancing the robustness, accuracy, and efficiency of these solutions to enable autonomous driving in diverse environments and conditions. The position offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art ML techniques and contribute to the future of autonomous driving.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions for Prediction and AV stack using state-of-the-art ML techniques for agent prediction across various driving environments.
- Conduct applied research and development of innovative deep learning models, including end-to-end models.
- Develop generalizable approaches to support diverse operational design domains (ODDs) and country/region expansions.
- Drive data-driven development by prioritizing data collection, labeling, and augmentation to maximize the value of data for improving prediction system accuracy.
- Leverage data simulation and augmentation to address extreme scenarios.
- Productize developed solutions by meeting product requirements for safety, latency, and software robustness.
Requirements
- PhD with 6+ years, MS with 10+ years, or BS with 12+ years of meaningful experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience developing deep learning algorithms for complex real-world problems.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience in data-driven development and collaboration with data and ground truth teams.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
