NVIDIA is seeking experienced ASIC Design Engineers to join our "AI for chip design" team, focusing on agentic AI to revolutionize the design of world-leading SoCs and GPUs. Responsibilities
- Document and deliver design guidelines for ASIC teams to implement high-performance, area, and power-efficient RTL.
- Develop agentic AI solutions for micro-architecture, RTL implementation, and verification of designs.
- Collaborate with designers and tool/flow owners to ensure design guidelines and AI solutions meet requirements.
- Utilize AI technologies to solve complex chip design problems and drive industry innovation.
- Design and deploy LLM-powered solutions for engineering assistants and multi-turn, multi-modal dialogue systems.
- Engage with advancements in machine learning and AI to create powerful solutions.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development (Verilog) for complex designs.
- Deep understanding of ASIC design flow (RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, timing analysis).
- Exposure to Digital systems, VLSI design, Computer Architecture, and Computer Arithmetic.
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping with Python, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with fine-tuning LLMs, building multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to thrive in dynamic, distributed teams.
