About the job

NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing & System Co-Design Workflow Engineer to lead the methodology and infrastructure that maintains holistic, systematic alignment across the full portfolio of GPU, SoC, and CPU programs. This role is crucial for ensuring alignment from initial specifications to final shipment, preventing issues like escapes, yield loss, and performance degradation. The ideal candidate will proactively design workflows and build checks and automation to ensure long-term alignment, integrating tooling into an agent-ready harness for rigorous engineering environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define manufacturing spec types, including schema and semantics, derived from system PORs and features.
  • Own the methodology for structuring, versioning, and validating specification work across the program lifecycle.
  • Develop production-grade Python pipelines and automated checks to detect specification drift between system POR and manufacturing test programs.
  • Integrate SMAC work into end-to-end program milestones, gates, and artifacts, defining TPM-driven attestation for lagging checks.
  • Integrate tooling into an agent-ready harness, including CLIs, MCPs, bug and spec retrieval, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and evaluation-based CI gates.
  • Drive adoption of SMAC methodology and tooling across Post Silicon, Operations, and DFX teams.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
  • 8+ years in system software, silicon bring-up, or productization engineering.
  • Strong Python and systems skills, with experience shipping production services and data pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of the spec ecosystem: system POR, guard-bands, manufacturing screen specs, and test insertion constraints.
  • Proven track record of cross-org influence and driving adoption of new methodologies and workflows.
  • Ability to read silicon and productization outputs and apply AI with judgment.
