NVIDIA is seeking a Harness and Platform Engineer to build the foundational infrastructure for AI safety and security engineering. This role is critical in ensuring the repeatability and trustworthiness of AI experiments. You will be responsible for the platform that supports all agent-based tooling, making sure that experimental results can be reproduced reliably. You will work closely with security research and evaluation engineers to understand their workflows and streamline their processes, aiming to reduce surprises by ensuring consistent environments, versioned tooling, and repeatable runs. Your focus will be on treating researcher time as valuable and removing any friction in the development and evaluation loop.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the agent harness.
- Build systems for running and reproducing AI experiments.
- Own and manage environments, tooling, and repeatable experiment runs.
- Collaborate with security and evaluation engineers to support their workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Python engineering skills.
- Comfort with containerized environments and CI/CD.
- Experience with agent frameworks, LLM orchestration, ML infrastructure, or evaluation harnesses.
- Demonstrated care for versioned tooling and repeatable results.
