We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to building the core infrastructure that powers our innovative products, including Hermes Agent and Nous Portal. This role is ideal for engineers with a broad skill set who enjoy tackling diverse challenges across product surfaces, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling. You will have the opportunity to work on high-leverage problems in a fast-paced environment, making a significant impact on products used by people every day.
Responsibilities
- Build product surfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Develop backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to the cloud platform and infrastructure for products and model serving.
- Create developer and research tooling to enhance team productivity.
- Address the highest-leverage problems as they arise.
Requirements
- Several years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Proficiency in at least one area (frontend, backend, infrastructure, systems, or ML tooling) with the ability to work across disciplines.
- Fluency in TypeScript and Python, with comfort using systems languages like Rust.
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
