Notion is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to join our collaborative AI workspace. You will contribute to building a unified platform where knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools converge, making work faster and more efficient. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the future of work in the AI era, focusing on creating lasting value and enhancing how humans collaborate. You will work on diverse aspects of our full-stack, from web services and databases to applications and tools, all while embracing an AI-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code.
- Design and enhance Notion product features with an AI-first approach.
- Develop, fix, and debug software across the full stack, including web services, databases, and applications.
- Leverage modern frameworks and tooling in software development.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Must graduate before Summer 2028.
- Previous internship experience.
- Working towards proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Typescript, Node.js, or Python.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in AI technologies (LLMs, Embeddings, ML) and a desire to learn more.
- Ability to work from our NY or SF office during the internship period (May 17 - August 6 or June 14 - Sept 3).
