Nango is a developer infrastructure company providing API access for agents and apps, enabling AI applications to connect to the real world. We are a YC-backed company with multi-million ARR and a growing team. We are seeking Senior+ Full-Stack Engineers to join our core engineering team. This product engineering role involves taking features from customer conversations to shipped products, encompassing the API, runtime, and dashboard. As we sell to developers, our engineers play a direct role in shaping the product roadmap, specifications, and execution, owning product surfaces end-to-end and influencing Nango's evolution as more customers build agents.
Responsibilities
- Ship product end-to-end, from backend services and APIs to the dashboard and developer-facing UIs.
- Build tools for developers and agents, including APIs, SDKs, CLI, MCP, and the web app.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their integration and agent use cases and translate them into product features.
- Design reliable and performant systems that scale with increasing usage.
- Shape the product roadmap through ownership of product and technical decisions.
- Engage with and maintain the open-source community through our repository.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience at a senior level or above.
- Strong backend fundamentals in APIs, databases, distributed systems, and performance.
- Proficiency across the full stack using TypeScript, including Node.js services and React frontends.
- A product-minded approach, caring about the 'what' and 'why' of development.
- Strong communication skills and proactivity in a remote-first setting.
- Developer empathy, optimizing for developer experience (DX).
- Pragmatic, positive, and collaborative attitude, willing to step up during incidents.
- Autonomous and driven by ownership, capable of navigating ambiguity in a startup environment.
- Based in North America, LATAM, or Europe.
