Nabla is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join a cross-functional squad focused on developing high-impact user experiences across web, desktop, browser extension, and mobile interfaces. This role involves setting UI quality and performance standards, evolving the design system, architecture, and tooling. You will lead the development of complex front-end features, drive technical decisions, partner with Design to create intuitive experiences, and collaborate with Product, ML, and Back-End teams to ship full-stack features. The position also includes mentoring other engineers and contributing to team best practices. Nabla is an AI company dedicated to improving healthcare by streamlining clinical documentation and workflows, backed by significant funding and led by experienced AI engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex front-end features using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
- Drive architecture and technical decisions for shared UI libraries and front-end performance.
- Partner with Design to deliver intuitive, polished, and accessible user experiences.
- Scale applications across web, mobile (Capacitor), and desktop (Electron) platforms.
- Collaborate with Product, ML, and Back-End teams to deliver full-stack features.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to team-wide best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development with a focus on modern web technologies.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, CSS architecture, and performance optimization.
- Experience thinking in design systems and building for reusability and consistency.
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and translate user needs into polished interfaces.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code and helping others do the same.
- Clear communication skills in English.
- Bonus experience with mobile apps, Electron, accessibility, or healthcare products.
