Join our Conversation Engine team to scale and optimize a cutting-edge Generative AI product that provides instant assistance to enterprise users. You will work at the core of Moveworks' Generative AI product, focusing on scaling and optimizing it for the enterprise solution space. We encourage innovative ideas to solve unsolved problems, collaborating closely with machine learning experts and cross-functional teams to rapidly iterate on new ideas and leverage user behavior data. Your challenge will be to scale and optimize our conversation engine to support hundreds of millions of users across multiple chat channels and use cases, enhancing our end-to-end product infrastructure with engineering quality and robustness.
Responsibilities
- Build product infrastructure with user-friendly interfaces for customizing and optimizing generative AI models, including data collection, adaptation to enterprise use cases, and delivering domain-specific conversational experiences.
- Design scalable API abstractions for the conversation platform supporting popular chat clients and providing a neutral API for other engineering systems.
- Optimize the dialog engine for conversational features, leveraging private domain knowledge and enabling real-time multilingual translation with minimal memory footprint and low latency.
- Champion best practices for coding patterns, API design, scalability, robustness, and optimization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide insights and visibility into the conversational AI product's performance through robust logging, tracing, debugging tools, and automated metrics.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, application engineers, product teams, and customer support to drive new feature development and scalability initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering with expertise in building scalable systems.
- Deep understanding of clean, modular, and scalable API design, with the ability to champion best coding practices.
- Passion for optimizing systems and improving performance, with experience in tracing, logging, and metrics frameworks.
- Ability to independently research new requirements and develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for articulating rationales and design approaches, with cross-functional awareness.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional development experience in building systems at scale.
