You will be responsible for shaping how top talent discovers and engages with Modal for the first time.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy for talent events, including meetups, recruiting mixers, tech talks, and community events, from ideation to follow-up.
- Design and manage the intern program from start to finish, including timelines, project scoping, mentorship, and conversion.
- Represent Modal at career fairs and campus events, and coordinate employee brand ambassadors.
- Develop and nurture relationships with universities, bootcamps, and community organizations to build the talent pipeline.
- Manage program budgets and oversee vendor relationships for events.
- Track and report on key program metrics, such as event pipeline conversion and intern conversion rates.
- Ensure swift execution while maintaining a high-quality candidate and intern experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing recruiting or talent programs, events, or university relations, with end-to-end ownership including budget and vendors.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across recruiting, hiring managers, and marketing teams.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events and timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable representing the company externally.
- A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with a track record of driving programs to completion and building scalable structures.
