Modal is building the next generation of AI infrastructure, enabling engineers to run AI workloads without the usual complexities. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Talent team as the first dedicated GTM recruiter. In this role, you will own end-to-end recruiting for sales, Go-To-Market (GTM), and other General & Administrative (G&A) searches. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Talent, founders, and GTM leaders to define our hiring strategies and attract the talent that will shape Modal's future.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for critical GTM and G&A hires, including sourcing, pitching, interview guidance, and closing candidates.
- Collaborate with GTM leaders to understand their needs and define ideal candidate profiles.
- Contribute to setting the company's hiring standards and talent evaluation processes.
- Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract experienced GTM talent.
- Ensure a swift, respectful, and transparent candidate experience.
- Apply an equity-focused approach to all stages of the recruitment process.
- Utilize data and market insights to maintain search momentum and align expectations.
- Act as a supportive guide for candidates navigating significant career decisions.

- Extensive experience in GTM recruiting, with a proven ability to handle challenging searches.
