AI needs a new infrastructure layer, and Modal is building it. We are seeking business operations managers to join our team and work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and finance across a variety of initiatives to help scale the business in its next phase of growth. This role is for a generalist who will get involved in all the business and operational aspects of a high-growth startup.
Responsibilities
- Drive in-depth quantitative analyses to inform pricing and packaging strategy.
- Help spin up the deal desk and streamline enterprise deals.
- Support the executive team on finance functions, including investor relations, cloud vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
- Implement new tools and processes to enable rapid growth of the Go-To-Market organization.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects such as securing new office space.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a business function (e.g., banking, consulting, startup).
- Exposure to technology and coding to understand the product, work with analytical tools, and build custom tooling.
- Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented with a high bar for output excellence.
- Eager to learn about various business functions and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excited about working in-person in NYC.
