Mercor is seeking a Program Manager for their Quality Team to devise and implement cross-functional quality processes. This role involves developing automated, technical solutions and managing an operational team of quality control specialists to evaluate human data deliverables before customer delivery. The ideal candidate will be a data-first, results-driven leader with a proven track record of excellence in building and managing quality programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own quality programs for designated accounts or projects in various human data domains.
  • Manage quality programs end-to-end, from initial concept and execution to delivering audit results and quality insights.
  • Develop technical solutions for automated dataset quality evaluation and proactive issue root-causing, leveraging LLMs, databases, and scripting.
  • Create systems to assess auditor and human data talent performance, ensuring quality standards and identifying process improvements.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Develop and present leadership-facing reports on human data delivery operations and strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, account operations, and other stakeholders to meet SLAs for high-priority projects.
  • Assist in hiring and managing a workforce of over 30 auditors, coaching them to achieve high-impact quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing high-impact technical and operational outcomes.
  • Demonstrated results-driven and entrepreneurial approach, with experience building systems from scratch in high-urgency environments.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with leadership, stakeholders, and the auditor workforce.
  • Ability to develop scalable solutions for complex operational problems, including root-cause analysis.
  • Robust project management experience, including managing distributed teams with a focus on prioritization and urgency.
  • Data-first problem-solving approach with strong qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities.
  • Experience with LLMs, databases, and scripting (bonus).
  • Experience developing and growing a distributed workforce of 30+ (bonus).
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech environment (bonus).
