Mercor is seeking an Enterprise AI Associate to join their team. This role operates at the intersection of customer engagement, product management, and go-to-market operations, focusing on helping Mercor's largest enterprise clients successfully deploy and scale AI solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a structured, analytical mindset, thrives on high agency, moves quickly, and takes ownership of ambiguous problem statements. You will be embedded in customer engagements, working with senior leaders to understand client AI priorities and pain points, translating these needs into delivery plans, and contributing to the refinement of offerings, brand positioning, and relaying customer feedback to engineering.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI engagements, including scoping workstreams, tracking milestones, and coordinating stakeholders.
- Document client AI pain points, synthesize organizational priorities, and identify value-driving workflows during client meetings.
- Translate qualitative client feedback and edge cases into structured execution plans for engineering teams to shape new AI agent capabilities.
- Scope unowned internal initiatives, define clear goals, and drive projects forward in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Refine go-to-market messaging and sales collateral based on customer interactions.
- Contribute to internal process improvements by building playbooks, templates, and frameworks.
- Stay current on trends in frontier AI, enterprise AI deployment, and data operations to inform client conversations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, product management, or a similarly structured analytical environment.
- Strong ability to break down complex problems, structure work plans, and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Excellent operational instincts, balancing detail tracking with the big picture.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and proposing solutions in the absence of a clear playbook.
- Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI and how systems work.
- Collaborative nature with the ability to build trust quickly with clients and internal teammates.
- Bonus: Prior exposure to AI, data operations, or technology-adjacent work.
