LlamaIndex is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join their application platform team. This role will focus on building new features and scaling ingestion and AI systems for a rapidly growing company backed by Greylock. You will have significant opportunities for growth and ownership as you contribute to the next phase of the company's expansion, working on innovative AI products that redefine knowledge access and utilization.
Responsibilities
- Build new features and scale backend capabilities, focusing on core APIs.
- Work closely with prospects and customers to build production solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Experience shipping new product features from prototype to production.
- Experience with or interest in AI/LLM-native applications.
- Ability to iterate rapidly with users and translate feedback into features.
- Experience shipping applications at scale.
