We are seeking engineers to build a complex AI-native product within a small, high-caliber team. Our platform facilitates AI-moderated video interviews at scale, connecting AI systems with human needs. We are developing a "Human API" that simulates human behavior and preferences, enabling AI agents to perform closed-loop product development at AI speed. This involves creating a database of millions of people, understanding emotional intelligence through AI, and building sophisticated preference models. The role requires engineers who can solve problems end-to-end, owning parts of the product across the LLM pipeline, infrastructure, backend, and UX. We are looking for individuals excited about pushing LLMs to their limits and communicating complex ideas effectively.
Responsibilities
- Build a complex AI-native product.
- Develop and maintain an AI-moderated video interview platform.
- Match profiles based on voice, face, and device IDs.
- Enhance AI interviewer capabilities to read tone, hesitation, and facial micro-expressions.
- Improve the preference model for quantifying predictions and determining refresh rates.
- Embed the Human API into various decision-making platforms like Slack, Linear, and IDEs.
- Develop and evaluate AI outputs for research agents.
- Own end-to-end product processes and make decisions across the LLM pipeline, infrastructure, backend, and UX.
- Collaborate with frontier model labs on new LLM releases.
- Communicate complex ideas and tradeoffs effectively in writing.
Requirements
- Ability to solve problems end-to-end.
- Experience as a founder or aspiring founder.
- Strong focus on accuracy and root cause analysis.
- Excitement for pushing LLMs to their limits.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Highly technical with a strong foundation in coding.
- Experience with LLM pipelines, infrastructure, backend, and UX.
