Limrun is seeking an engineer to build and scale its platform, which runs development tools and applications as cloud services that AI agents can use. The role involves deciding on product direction, owning projects from design to maintenance, and participating in an on-call rotation to investigate and resolve production incidents. This is an opportunity to work directly with the founder, shape the engineering team's practices, and explore the application of AI in solving infrastructure challenges.
Responsibilities
- Build and launch new tools, features, and cloud services, including Go services, APIs, and Kubernetes controllers.
- Optimize startup times, scheduling, and compute utilization to handle growing demand.
- Develop and maintain tenant isolation, access controls, and networking for customer data protection.
- Automate host provisioning, upgrades, and failure recovery processes.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and translate challenges into product improvements.
- Join an on-call rotation and investigate production incidents.
Requirements
- Experience building, operating, and scaling production cloud infrastructure, including deployment, observability, and reliability.
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining Go services in production, with an understanding of concurrent code.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and controller patterns.
- Ability to diagnose failures across application code, networking, and operating systems.
- Experience shipping production software or infrastructure using AI-assisted development.
