About the job
Legora is seeking exceptional Security Engineers to build and maintain the security foundation of our AI-native legal workspace. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will own security end-to-end, developing tooling and guardrails to ensure security is integrated into our multi-tenant AI platform and multi-cloud environment. You will embed with engineering teams, making secure design, development, and operations the default path. We are looking for T-shaped engineers with deep expertise in Application Security, Detection Engineering & Response, or Cloud & Platform Security, who can also operate credibly across the other areas.
Responsibilities
- Own security work end-to-end, including architecture, tooling, roadmap, and outcomes.
- Embed with engineering teams to promote secure design, development, and operations.
- Build and deploy software such as guardrails, detections, libraries, automation, and workflows.
- Enhance security across engineering through design reviews, threat modeling, tooling, and enablement.
- Address the root cause of bugs by transforming findings into patterns, defaults, or detections.
- Secure a multi-tenant AI platform, covering identity, authorization, tenant isolation, data handling, and model-facing attack surfaces.
- Build with LLMs and agents, and secure code and workflows generated at agent speed.
- Respond to security incidents and produce post-mortems for technical and organizational improvements.
Requirements
- Several years of engineering experience in a security specialization (Application Security, Detection Engineering & Response, or Cloud & Platform Security) with demonstrated depth.
- Ability to write production-quality code, primarily in TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
- Comfort operating across application security, detection and response, and cloud/platform security.
- Understanding of identity, authorization, multi-tenancy, and security boundaries.
- Clear communication skills, ability to translate risk into engineering terms, and influence teams.
- Calm and structured approach under incident pressure.
- Excitement for working in a small team with a large surface area, prioritizing leverage over queues.
