Legora is seeking a Legal Engineer Associate to join their team at the intersection of law, technology, and product. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI transforming the legal industry, contributing directly to platform development, testing, and adoption. You will collaborate with Legal Engineers, Customer Success, and Product teams to support client pilots, design and evaluate AI use cases for legal tasks, capture user insights for product improvements, and document best practices for AI deployment.
Responsibilities
- Support client-facing pilots, onboarding, and training to maximize Legora platform usage.
- Design and evaluate use cases demonstrating AI capabilities on real legal tasks like contract review, research, and drafting.
- Gather user insights and translate them into actionable feedback for product enhancements.
- Document best practices and contribute to internal playbooks for scaling legal AI deployment.
Requirements
- Exposure to and interest in law; J.D. preferred, or legal/legal innovation work experience (e.g., paralegal, clerk).
- 0-2 years of experience (Trainee/paralegal level).
- Tech curious and eager to engage with AI, product features, and workflow automation.
- Not necessarily a coder, but comfortable experimenting with prompt engineering.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between legal and technical professionals.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate AI outputs.
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and structuring ambiguity.
