Legora is seeking a Head of Workplace Technology to build and lead a new function that ensures our global offices run seamlessly, securely, and efficiently. This role is critical in establishing standards for hardware, AV, networking, and physical security across all our locations, while also managing the function's budget and vendor relationships. You will be responsible for overseeing office buildouts from a technology perspective, collaborating closely with Information Security, IT Systems, and People Operations to ensure smooth operations and onboarding. A key aspect of this role is leveraging our AI-native service desk to automate repetitive tasks and optimize support, ensuring that our internal technology infrastructure matches the innovation of our product.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Legora's offices operate to standard across hardware, AV, conferencing, network, and physical security.
- Manage the function's global budget and vendor framework, including forecasting, standardizing contracts, and feeding site budgets.
- Oversee technology scope for active office buildouts, including AV, network, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with Information Security, IT Systems, and People Operations on access, network, device controls, and onboarding.
- Run the function using Legora's AI-native service desk, establishing common SLAs and automating processes.
- Automate repetitive support work and integrate AI tooling into the function's operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT/workplace technology, AV, or facilities-adjacent technical operations.
- Several years of multi-site or global responsibility, including managing managers or senior individual contributors.
- Proven experience building a function from scratch, setting standards, hiring teams, and accountability across continents.
- Ability to debug technical issues and manage budget conversations effectively.
- Strong partnership skills with cross-functional teams (Workplace, Security, IT, People, Finance).
- Demonstrated ability to reach for automation before headcount and turn repetitive work into workflows.
