The Human Frontier Collective (HFC) Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for top researchers and domain experts to collaborate on high-impact projects shaping the future of AI. As an HFC Fellow, you will leverage your academic and professional expertise to design, evaluate, and interpret advanced generative AI systems. This program provides exposure to cutting-edge research and fosters collaboration within an interdisciplinary network of leading thinkers, aiming to advance responsible AI through impactful, flexible research and training.
Responsibilities
- Engage in high-impact projects with partnered AI labs and platforms.
- Design complex real-world scenarios for AI evaluation.
- Evaluate model outputs for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Provide targeted feedback to improve AI performance in legal domains.
- Collaborate with the research team to co-author technical reports and research papers.
- Contribute to advancing frontier AI across domains.
Requirements
- JD, LLM, or currently enrolled in a 2L/3L program.
- Bar admission in any jurisdiction strongly preferred.
- Experience as an Attorney/Associate, Legal Analyst, Counsel, Law Clerk, In-House Counsel, Legal Researcher, or Law Professor.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research.
- Demonstrated expertise in analysis of regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in constitutional law.
- Demonstrated expertise in case law interpretation.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting legal briefs.
- Detail-oriented and innovative thinker.
- Passion for financial technology.
- Commitment to collaboration.
- Prior experience with AI is a plus.
