Langfuse, an open-source LLM engineering platform, is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to focus on events and community engagement. As part of ClickHouse, Langfuse helps teams build AI applications through tracing, evaluation, and prompt management. This role is crucial for driving adoption and momentum through in-person interactions, complementing the product-led, open-source growth strategy. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end process of representing Langfuse at key industry events, making the product clear to technical audiences, and translating these interactions into lasting marketing impact.
Responsibilities
- Represent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer events, partner events, and community gatherings.
- Conduct live demos and technical sessions on LLM engineering workflows.
- Develop and maintain event-related materials such as demo flows, workshop runbooks, and talk abstracts.
- Organize Langfuse-hosted community events like meetups and workshops.
- Collaborate with ClickHouse marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure effective Langfuse representation.
- Translate learnings from events into improved messaging, demos, documentation, and product feedback.
Requirements
- Experience in DevRel, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.
- Proven experience speaking at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, or technical events.
- Demonstrated ability to create technical content, demos, videos, or educational materials.
- Enthusiasm for travel, public speaking, running demos, hosting events, and engaging with developers and technical leaders.
- A strong understanding of developer experience, open source, and AI engineering.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to credibly explain software to experienced developers (former engineer or deeply technical operator preferred).
- Proficiency in writing code to build and maintain demo or workshop materials.
- Deep knowledge in AI engineering, LLM observability, evals, agents, or developer tools is a plus.
- Possession of original, valued opinions among experienced developers is a plus.
