LangChain is seeking a Partner Engineer to build the technical foundation for our ecosystem, enabling cloud providers and systems integrators to reach more customers. This role involves creating reference architectures, integration patterns, and enablement programs to support partner motions, including co-selling with hyperscalers and enabling independent delivery by systems integrators. You will work closely with partners to develop solutions that their technical teams can then leverage with their own clients, ultimately shaping how AI technology is deployed in the real world.
Responsibilities
- Build reference architectures and integration patterns for co-sell motions, including marketplace listings and joint solution briefs.
- Partner with cloud field and partner teams on solutioning for named accounts.
- Maintain marketplace presence and co-sell technical assets for LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
- Develop and manage LangChain's partner enablement program from scratch, including certification tracks, workshops, and delivery playbooks.
- Run LangChain's partner certification program, delivering workshops and reviewing projects.
- Collaborate with SI centers of excellence to create repeatable joint solutions and reference architectures.
- Act as a technical evangelist, presenting the technical case for LangChain to SI client account teams.
- Build and maintain joint business plans with strategic services partners, aligning technical roadmaps with business priorities.
- Support SI teams in growing their agentic AI practices and expertise.
- Contribute technical enablement to the Tier 1 GSI strategy.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex partner-led deployments.
- Represent LangChain at partner events, summits, and joint webinars.
- Gather and relay feedback from partners and the field to product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a technical, partner-facing or customer-facing role (e.g., Partner Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer).
- Proven track record of partnering with systems integrators, cloud providers, or technology/ISV partners to solve complex technical problems.
- Experience building enablement programs (certifications, workshops, playbooks) for partner technical teams.
- Comfortable operating across engineering, partnerships, and sales functions.
- Strong presentation and technical communication skills, able to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience building with LLM frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph, including RAG patterns and agent architecture.
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks and iterating on prompts/agent behavior.
- Strong Python skills.
- Working knowledge of GCP and/or Azure cloud services.
- Experience designing reusable integrations, sample repositories, or reference architectures.
- Familiarity with vector stores, tool integration, and API design in agentic systems.
- Ability to build credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to partner technical teams.
- Comfortable with both writing integrations and presenting technical solutions.
