LangChain is seeking a Deal Strategy & Operations Manager to join our growing Deal Strategy & Operations team. This role is a critical partner to our EMEA sales organization, focused on enabling efficient deal execution while upholding pricing integrity and revenue quality. You will review and structure non-standard SaaS contracts, evaluate pricing requests, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal to expedite deal approvals. Ensuring all deals are accurately configured in our CPQ system, comply with revenue recognition standards, and align with company policies is key. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the full revenue lifecycle and directly impact our ability to close deals quickly.
Responsibilities
- Own the deal strategy across the EMEA sales team.
- Manage non-standard deals through the contracting cycle and internal approval processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Evolve deal policies, including contract terms, pricing, and contractual requirements.
- Partner with Account Executives on deal formation and translate deal structures to Order Forms.
- Create operational processes, documentation, and enable Sales Teams on best practices.
- Monitor and address internal requests with urgency and thoughtfulness.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Deal Operations or Deal Desk.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across internal functions (Sales, RevOps, Legal, Finance, etc.).
- Experience operating across EMEA markets, including multi-currency workflows and regional compliance.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models, including structuring deals and managing overages.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at prioritization, balancing urgent requests with long-term projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Proactively manages tasks and priorities and executes work efficiently.
