This role is to build an AI-native market intelligence and pricing system that converts competitive signals into defensible commercial decisions for SKU-heavy manufacturers. The system will ingest competitor portfolios, channel movement, pricing, specifications, and configuration changes, then use spec-aware entity resolution to map competitor products against the customer's own lineup. A recommendation engine will translate these changes into actionable price, positioning, promotion, or portfolio adjustments, all while respecting operational constraints and user feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own the build of the AI market intelligence and pricing system from data ingestion through to operator workflows.
- Collaborate with AI Fund and enterprise users to define pilot programs, success metrics, and MVP scope.
- Maintain technical judgment and ensure visibility into the reasoning behind every recommendation.
- Build evaluation loops to address incorrect product matches, unsupported recommendations, hallucinated drivers, and constraint failures.
- Design the system for enterprise trust, incorporating data isolation, auditability, model routing, and deployment controls.
Requirements
- Strong engineering ability in backend systems, data products, AI workflows, and structured data.
- Demonstrated experience building GenAI systems with retrieval, entity resolution, recommendation logic, monitoring, evals, or model orchestration.
- Experience with product catalogs, pricing, taxonomy, GTM, CRM, sales-intelligence, or supply-chain data.
- Product judgment for enterprise workflows requiring explainable, constrained, and operationally useful recommendations.
- Proficiency in using AI coding assistants and modern AI tools to enhance engineering speed and judgment.
- US work authorization.
