Lambda is seeking a Technical Success Engineer to join their Superintelligence business unit. This role is responsible for managing the deployment of AI cloud infrastructure for large, strategic customers, taking projects from contract signing to a fully operational production environment. You will act as the primary technical contact, ensuring customer requirements are met by validating configurations, identifying gaps, and collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve issues. The goal is to ensure a seamless transition to production and customer self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage signed deployments from contract to live production environments, validating configuration, connectivity, storage, and compute.
- Provide technical expertise in validation and troubleshooting, identifying gaps and working with engineering teams for resolution.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, and Data Center teams to address technical dependencies and blockers.
- Maintain an accurate technical overview of deployments, tracking progress, open items, and risks.
- Provide clear and regular status updates to stakeholders, including RAG status and risk mitigation plans.
- Guide customers through onboarding to their first successful production workload.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during deployment and early production phases.
- Document recurring technical patterns into reusable runbooks or checklists.
- Transition customer accounts to the broader account team once stable and self-sufficient.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on technical experience with GPU/HPC infrastructure, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or large-scale Linux systems.
- Ability to act as the technical authority, validate builds, identify gaps, and hold engineering teams accountable.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, storage, or compute issues.
- Proven track record of coordinating across engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for status updates and technical documentation.
- Proactive and ownership-oriented approach to work.
