You will partner closely with GTM leadership, Accounting, and Infrastructure Finance teams to provide critical financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The position involves analyzing customer segments, supporting pricing strategies, and reporting on internal capacity usage, all while contributing to executive-level reporting and communication. This is an opportunity to shape the financial future of a rapidly growing AI cloud company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Public Cloud revenue forecast across various offerings.
  • Build and maintain driver-based models for revenue forecasting.
  • Forecast new customer acquisition, expansion, contraction, and churn.
  • Deliver monthly revenue forecasts with variance analysis and commentary.
  • Partner with Accounting on billing, consumption reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
  • Own OpEx and headcount planning, tracking, and reporting for the Public Cloud organization.
  • Maintain hiring plans and track against approved headcount.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly budget vs. actual analysis.
  • Serve as the finance partner to Public Cloud GTM leadership.
  • Model sales capacity, quota coverage, and rep productivity.
  • Analyze pipeline conversion, bookings-to-revenue linkage, and funnel efficiency.
  • Build business cases for GTM investments and measure their return.
  • Develop segment-level views of revenue, margin, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Build cohort and consumption-behavior analyses.
  • Size segment opportunity and inform prioritization.
  • Surface customer concentration risk and account-level margin outliers.
  • Support pricing strategy with margin, elasticity, and competitive analysis.
  • Model P&L impact of pricing changes and discount structures.
  • Support deal review on non-standard pricing and margin guardrails.
  • Track and report internal consumption of Public Cloud capacity.
  • Build and maintain allocation and chargeback methodology.
  • Quantify the opportunity cost of internal usage.
  • Partner with Infrastructure Finance on capacity reporting.
  • Deliver Public Cloud insights for business and executive reviews.
  • Translate consumption and operational data into a financial narrative.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to drive revenue growth, margin, and capital efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, GTM or sales finance, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Experience with Cloud / AI infrastructure, SaaS, Data centers, Telecom, or Hardware is ideal.
  • Direct experience forecasting revenue in a consumption-based or usage-based business model.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Deep expertise in constructing complex financial models and interpreting financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable partnering directly with senior commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with little direction.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth organization is a plus.
  • Experience with pricing strategy, unit economics, or deal desk support is a plus.
  • Working proficiency in SQL and comfort querying large data sets is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise planning systems and CRM data is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GPU compute, AI/ML workloads, or public cloud infrastructure is a plus.
