About the job
Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking an Internal Tools & Data Product Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on bridging the gap between leadership needs and team reporting capabilities by transforming manual processes into self-serve data products and optimizing workflows. You will partner with business teams to identify inefficiencies caused by manual work, inconsistent data, or missing tooling, and help implement solutions. This may involve defining metrics, building dashboards, retiring outdated spreadsheet processes, and triaging tool requests. Some solutions will be implemented directly using lightweight builds and AI-assisted coding, while others will be scoped for engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to define key metrics and establish a single source of truth.
- Contribute to requirements for transforming manual reporting into live, self-serve dashboards.
- Prioritize automation of reports and metrics based on current manual, stale, or error-prone states.
- Identify and automate manual, spreadsheet-driven work from end to end.
- Scope fixes, deciding between direct implementation (scripting, no-code, AI coding) and full engineering builds.
- Write clear, engineering-ready specifications for tasks handed off to technical partners.
- Identify opportunities for AI agents or automation to replace manual coordination and feed the automation roadmap.
- Support the tool-request pipeline by collecting, triaging, and prioritizing requests based on impact versus effort.
- Maintain a visible roadmap for stakeholders to understand upcoming work and rationale.
- Build relationships with supported teams to ensure priorities align with their needs.
Requirements
- Early-career experience in product, business operations, analytics, or technical program management.
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and lightweight tooling (SQL, no-code platforms, AI coding assistants).
- Some exposure to designing workflows or tools from an end-user perspective.
- A track record of shipping tangible outcomes (tools, process fixes, scripts) rather than just recommendations.
- Strong end-user experience judgment to differentiate between technically correct and usable tools/dashboards.
- Ability to prioritize effectively by weighing impact against effort across a backlog.
- Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools for direct implementation of small tasks.
- Skills in cross-functional relationship building.
- Clear written communication for specs, roadmaps, and requirements.
Benefits
- Generous cash & equity compensation
- Health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
- Wellness and commuter stipends for select roles
- 401k Plan with 2% company match (USA employees)
- Flexible paid time off plan
