Inworld is seeking a Staff / Principal Platform Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of building, securing, and scaling our AI products. This role involves being the driving force behind our cloud infrastructure, partnering with engineers to deploy and evolve services across major cloud providers using tools like Terraform and ArgoCD. You will identify needs and drive initiatives forward, directly shaping how the company operates and innovates.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain reliable, high-performance, and secure cloud infrastructure for TTS and LLM Router.
- Build AI-powered tooling and workflows to improve software development and deployment processes.
- Provide tools and processes for monitoring service reliability, availability, and performance.
- Manage pipelines for efficient code integration and deployment.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop automated solutions for critical issues.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in software engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code.
- Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and applications, including Kustomize manifests/Helm charts.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure deployments.
- Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, OCI).
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming/scripting language (Golang, Python, Bash).
