Hyperbound is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and ship the models powering their Revenue Activation Platform. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of models, from training and fine-tuning open-source models to deploying them in production and ensuring their performance. You will focus on pushing models on-device, building robust evaluation frameworks, and contributing to the company's agentic operating system for sales. This is a challenging, fast-paced role where you'll work closely with founders and engineering, with significant input into product development.
Responsibilities
- Own models end-to-end, from training through production.
- Fine-tune and deploy open-source models for production use.
- Push models on-device, considering quantization and distillation tradeoffs.
- Build evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and regression suites to assess model performance.
- Collaborate closely with founders and the engineering team.
- Contribute to product development decisions.
Requirements
- Experience owning models end-to-end.
- Experience with fine-tuning and deploying open-source models.
- Experience with on-device model deployment and associated tradeoffs.
- Experience building evaluation frameworks and benchmarks.
