About the job
Within is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to own product surfaces that make AI useful within real-world workflows. This is a full-stack builder role where you will define problems, prototype solutions using AI tooling, and drive features from concept to production. You will work directly with the CTO, engineering and design leads, and GTM teams, with the autonomy to shape product areas end-to-end. The ideal candidate understands the technical underpinnings of AI, writes clear specifications, and stays involved through launch, focusing on shipping shippable ideas rather than production-grade code.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize core AI product areas, writing PRDs and driving features from concept to production.
- Build working prototypes with AI tooling to validate product directions.
- Conduct customer interviews and synthesize field feedback into structured insights.
- Partner with engineering and design teams, providing clear requirements and making principled decisions.
- Own concrete product surfaces such as Companion, AI Interviewer, Advisor, and the agent repository.
- Design AI-native behavior in the product, setting user expectations for probabilistic systems and accounting for model failure modes.
- Define success metrics, instrument product areas, and close the loop on shipped features.
- Expand ownership as the team grows and new opportunities arise.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or AI platforms.
- Proven track record of shipping technically complex products with measurable outcomes.
- Experience building working prototypes with AI tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, v0).
- Technical credibility, including collaboration on architecture diagrams, reasoning about system tradeoffs, and comfort with SQL and API documentation.
- Experience shipping Generative AI features and understanding the tradeoffs of probabilistic systems.
- Strong taste and UX intuition, with the ability to distill user needs into simple, elegant UX.
- Customer-obsessed, with experience conducting unsupervised customer interviews and building unfamiliar user experiences.
- Ability to synthesize context quickly, make decisions, and iterate rapidly.
- Continuous learning and staying at the bleeding edge of AI-native velocity.
