Within is seeking an AI Front-end Engineer to join their fast-growing Series B company. You will work directly with senior engineers and designers, contributing to features used by Fortune 500 customers and learning best practices for scalable front-end systems. Responsibilities
- Build production UI components, integrate with backend APIs, and contribute to features that ship to real users.
- Learn and apply best practices for state management, API integration, and performance optimization within existing component libraries.
- Collaborate with designers to implement their vision and with backend engineers to understand technical constraints.
- Contribute to the development of AI-powered workflows and enterprise-scale applications.
- Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from senior engineers.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience shipping production code, or exceptional new graduates with strong portfolios.
- Strong frontend fundamentals with a design sensibility, including proficiency in React and an understanding of component architecture.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind.
- Curiosity about AI and eagerness to experiment with AI tools.
- A drive to ship quickly and iterate based on user feedback.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and user experience.
- Collaborative and coachable, with the ability to ask good questions and learn from experienced team members.
- Energized by challenging UI problems and ambiguity.
