Anthropic is seeking a Head of Consolidations & Intercompany to lead and expand its consolidation program and group-level intercompany framework. This is a hands-on, builder's role where you will design, document, codify, and scale processes, starting as a player-coach before building out a team. You will partner closely with the Head of Corporate Accounting on strategic direction and work across departments to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation process within Workday.
- Design and implement a scalable allocation model across the organization.
- Develop and maintain a group-level intercompany framework, including elimination logic and transaction flow documentation.
- Advise on corporate structures and transaction flows in partnership with business, tax, and legal teams.
- Streamline intercompany operations, including redesigning and automating cost allocation processes.
- Collaborate with tax on transfer pricing and with treasury on FX policy and payment optimization.
- Define the strategic vision for the consolidation and intercompany function and build a high-performing team.
Requirements
- Direct, end-to-end ownership of a multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation close at scale.
- Proven experience building an intercompany framework from the ground up.
- Demonstrated ability to establish structure and resolve ambiguity.
- Seniority and confidence to lead pillar-level direction and operate as a player-coach.
- Experience documenting processes and hiring teams.
Benefits
- Annual compensation range: $300,000 - $385,000 USD
