Greptile is seeking a Research Engineer to join their AI code reviewer team. This role involves experimenting with and applying the latest advances in agents and language models to enhance product performance and capabilities. You will design and build multi-agent systems, harnesses, models, and evaluations that power code validation. The position offers the opportunity to study multi-agent architectures, prototype and evaluate workflows, and integrate successful prototypes into production systems, while staying current with research in LLMs, information retrieval, and developer tooling.
Responsibilities
- Experiment with and apply the latest advances in agents and language models to push the performance and capabilities of our products
- Design and build multi-agent systems, harnesses, models, and evals that power code validation
- Study multi-agent architectures, prototype and evaluate multi-agent code review workflows, and integrate successful prototypes into production systems
- Stay on top of the latest research across LLMs, information retrieval, and developer tooling
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Research experience in math, computer science, or physics
- Strong programming skills and sharp product intuition
- Bonus: research experience with ML, language models, or agents
- Bonus: papers accepted at top ML conferences
- Bonus: your own harnesses and evals for technical applications
- Bonus: experience post-training models
- Bonus: a research master’s or PhD
