Glean is seeking a Tech Lead Manager for the Admin Console team to oversee a critical product area responsible for customer deployment, governance, and scaling of the Glean platform. This full-stack leadership role involves guiding architecture, collaborating with product and design teams, and developing a strategically important engineering team. The Admin Console serves as the central hub for enterprise activation, enabling administrators to configure authentication, data sources, permissions, governance, search settings, AI features, and monitor deployment health. As Glean transitions into an AI platform, this team's focus will expand from data source management to overseeing the broader system context, including actions, live data, governance, and AI configuration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Admin Console engineering team, providing people leadership and technical direction.
- Own the architecture and execution for core admin workflows such as data source setup, security configuration, deployment management, and feature rollout controls.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to streamline complex enterprise workflows and enhance the admin experience for intuitiveness and scalability.
- Evolve the Admin Console from a system focused on crawlers and data setup to a comprehensive control plane for enterprise context, actions, governance, and AI capability management.
- Enhance self-serve activation to enable faster organization setup by administrators with reduced reliance on human support.
- Improve visibility into crawl health, connector status, indexing progress, permissions, and rollout readiness to provide administrators with confidence in their deployment status.
