Glean is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager (SEM) for its APAC team to provide top-notch technical guidance and value to prospects and customers. This role involves leading a team of solutions engineers to drive and improve pre-sales engagements, including technical discovery, custom product demonstrations, use case workshops, and pilots. The SEM will also focus on enhancing customer adoption, growth, and the business value derived from Glean's Work AI platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a team of solutions engineers, offering mentorship and support.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for a territory or segment, acting as the CTO for customer relationships.
- Collaborate with SEs, prospects, and customers to connect to new data sources, including custom integrations.
- Utilize sales methodologies like Command of the Message and MEDDPICC to lead technical discovery and improve deal inspection and value delivery.
- Identify opportunities for expanding Glean's usage within existing customer bases.
- Work with sales and services teams to align priorities and expectations between Glean and customers.
- Troubleshoot, prioritize, and escalate customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Partner with Product Management to ensure customer needs are met.
Requirements
- Experience managing a team of solutions engineers.
- Strong technical advisory skills.
- Experience with custom integrations and connecting to data sources.
- Proficiency in sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDDPICC.
- Ability to identify expansion opportunities within customer accounts.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with sales and services.
- Experience troubleshooting and escalating customer issues.
- Partnership experience with Product Management.
