Glean is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their GTM organization in the UK&I region. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor to the local sales team, partners, and customers, guiding them through their Generative AI journeys. Unlike a classic SE profile, this position requires strong technical skills to help customers connect Glean to their critical platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub, and Zendesk. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, ensuring the technical success and delivery of sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Perform interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform to prospective customers.
- Educate customer technical teams on the Glean platform's architecture and how it functions within their environment.
- Scope and execute sponsored pilot and Proof of Value (PoV) exercises to validate technical requirements and business objectives.
- Train customers and partners on the product to ensure their success.
- Present at company-sponsored events like Google Cloud Next and AWS re:Invent.
- Liaise with Glean product managers and engineers to investigate issues, raise feature requests, and understand the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Strong technical skillset, not a classic SE profile.
- Experience guiding customers through Generative AI journeys.
- Familiarity with connecting enterprise platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub, and Zendesk.
