Glean is seeking creative engineers to own and launch delightful user-facing features for its Work AI platform. In a fast-paced startup environment, this role involves collaborating with product managers and designers to balance engineering constraints with user needs. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of greenfield features, from conception and implementation to experimentation and launch. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to develop elegant solutions and architect robust, scalable backend systems and REST APIs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee greenfield features from inception to launch and beyond.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to create elegant solutions.
- Architect REST APIs backed by stable, scalable server-side implementations.
- Write efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Mentor junior engineers or learn from experienced ones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience building and shipping scalable backend features.
