About the job
Glean is seeking product engineers to contribute to the development of AI Agents for the workplace. This role involves collaborating across product, AI, and platform teams to enable users in building, evaluating, self-improving, deploying, and operating sophisticated agents within the Glean platform. It's a cross-functional position for engineers who enjoy owning user-facing product experiences from conception to completion, while also engaging with the underlying systems. You will influence how users create agents, how these agents function in auto-mode or independently, how they are assessed and enhanced over time, and how to ensure their reliability, safety, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product experiences for users to create and configure AI agents.
- Design and implement workflows for users to evaluate agent quality, inspect results, and understand failure modes.
- Develop product loops that facilitate agent improvement through feedback, evaluations, optimization, and self-improvement.
- Assist users in deploying and operating auto-mode and independent agents with appropriate guardrails, controls, and visibility.
- Integrate agent capabilities into polished user experiences by working across frontend, backend, prompting, harness behavior, infrastructure, and product systems.
