Glean is seeking a Software Engineer to help build a scalable software platform, including enterprise search solutions. This role involves working across distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces to deliver secure, high-quality products. You will contribute to a platform that powers intelligent search, an AI assistant, and AI agents, with a focus on enterprise-grade AI solutions. The work is deeply embedded in how people get things done, shipping agentic capabilities on an open, extensible stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications including front-end interfaces, REST APIs, and application servers.
- Build large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems, optimizing performance on Linux-based systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, assessing interface design, code quality, and testing strategies.
- Understand and implement customer requirements into the solution.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure features meet customer needs and are delivered with high quality.
- Implement data ingestion pipelines to retrieve data from enterprise sources and build secure search indexes using C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Design and implement user interfaces for enterprise content search and APIs for related applications.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience with Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
- Experience with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with PyTorch.
- Experience with TensorFlow.
- Experience with Anomaly Detection.
- Experience with Scikit-learn.
