Glean is building a modern knowledge assistant personalized to every employee in your organization, making all information within your company accessible, contextual, and fresh. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to assess the quality of our web application through Manual & Automation testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches with the initial level of RCA. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans to qualify product releases and features.
- Perform initial root cause analysis on bugs using developer tools, GCP server logs, and SQL analysis.
- Report bugs and errors with detailed information in Jira to aid the engineering team.
- Help reproduce externally reported bugs.
- Execute edge cases to enhance test plans.
- Collaborate with the development team to keep test plans updated with new changes.
- Contribute to the existing automation framework, triaging and fixing failing tests.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Automation and Manual Testing of responsive web pages.
- Experience with developer tools, network and console tabs, GCP server logs, and SQL analysis for root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in bug reporting using Jira.
- Familiarity with contributing to and maintaining automation frameworks.
