Glean is seeking a Product Manager to help solve the ubiquitous problem of knowledge management for all knowledge workers. You will deliver best-in-class products for finding, curating, sharing, discovering, and managing knowledge, taking us closer to our vision of an intelligent work assistant. As a key member of a lean product team, you will have a significant impact on shaping the product roadmap and the team itself. You will collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Success teams to understand customer needs and build category-defining tools. This role offers the opportunity to gain both breadth and depth of experience, with a specific focus on developing new technologies and product features for Glean Protect (Security and Governance). This includes areas like explainable AI systems, identification and prevention of AI risks, and observability, security, and privacy features for AI agents and underlying data.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand customer knowledge needs through extensive customer interaction.
- Develop key product roadmap components, aligning customer needs with product vision.
- Empower the team by providing context, setting direction, and building alignment.
- Drive customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Build scalable processes to support team and company growth.
- Develop new technologies and product features for AI security and governance, including explainable AI, AI risk prevention, and AI agent security/privacy.
Requirements
- Experience in product management, with a focus on shaping product roadmaps and teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Success).
- Experience in developing products related to AI security, governance, explainable AI, or AI risk management is a plus.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into product requirements.
- Proven ability to drive decisions, prioritize effectively, and ensure efficient execution.
- Experience in building scalable processes for growing teams.
