Glean is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of its APIs, SDKs, and MCP strategy, focusing on the developer persona within customer organizations and partner companies. This role requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of developer needs, and a passion for building robust, scalable API and SDK solutions. You will collaborate with premier B2B product companies to shape our partnership strategy and drive the evolution of Glean's developer platform.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and evolution of public APIs and SDKs, including versioning, deprecation, and backwards-compatibility.
- Define the end-to-end developer experience, covering authentication, onboarding, error handling, rate limiting, and webhooks.
- Write code, build sample applications, and perform integrations to identify and resolve rough edges.
- Review and improve documentation from a developer's perspective.
- Analyze support tickets and forum threads to identify recurring issues and address them as design defects.
- Define and track key metrics such as time-to-first-call, integration success rate, and API error rates.
- Finalize API contracts and requirements before engineering begins development and manage scope creep.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in platform, developer experience, API, SDK, or partnership-driven products.
