Escape is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their AI Cybersecurity team. This role is central to the company's product, focusing on owning and evolving the core data model that represents attack surfaces and AI-learned insights. You will be responsible for translating offensive AI research into tangible product features, accessible through a Svelte frontend and GraphQL API. This position offers a high-leverage opportunity to influence technical direction and directly impact what customers see, with a clear path towards technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the data model schema representing assets, findings, and AI-accumulated context.
- Translate offensive AI research outputs into usable product features for customers via frontend and API.
- Optimize PostgreSQL performance for querying, indexing, and low-latency search over large datasets.
- Build AI-native workflows for guided triage, assisted remediation, and signal extraction.
- Drive architecture decisions including data modeling, system design, and GraphQL schema definition.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production web applications with strong frontend and backend skills.
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript and its type system.
- Proven experience designing GraphQL schemas.
- Strong passion for product, craft, and design.
- Excellent ownership and communication skills, able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
