As a Junior Full-Stack Engineer at Escape, you will play a crucial role in shaping the core of our AI-powered cybersecurity products. Working closely with senior engineers and technical leads, you will deliver features and improvements across the entire product. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in AI-driven security, work across both frontend and backend development, and witness the direct impact of your contributions in production.
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend (Svelte + TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, GraphQL, Prisma, PostgreSQL) features under mentorship.
- Collaborate on delivering new features and enhancing user experience for security teams.
- Maintain and improve the data model supporting security products.
- Evolve the API and integrate new AI research into product features.
- Learn and apply best practices for database query optimization, pagination, and performance.
- Contribute to user-facing surfaces by building intuitive workflows and dashboards.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience building web applications.
- Good understanding of both frontend and backend development.
- Motivation to learn TypeScript and modern frameworks like Svelte.
- Familiarity with APIs (REST or GraphQL) and databases like PostgreSQL.
- Interest in the intersection of AI, security, and high-impact products.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
