Elastic is seeking a Principal AI Ecosystem Architect to lead technical strategy and relationships with key AI providers, specifically OpenAI and Anthropic. This individual contributor role involves driving co-build strategies through deep integrations, influencing Elastic's product roadmap, building prototypes, and shaping go-to-market content. The architect will own end-to-end technical relationships, bringing both technical depth and practical experience to demonstrate how Elastic's retrieval capabilities can be leveraged with frontier AI for unstructured enterprise data.
Responsibilities
- Drive co-build strategy with Elastic's Product team, prioritizing integrations with OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Serve as Elastic's technical voice within the OpenAI and Anthropic ecosystems.
- Build reference architectures and prototypes demonstrating Elasticsearch as the retrieval layer for AI agents.
- Collaborate with Security and Observability product teams to showcase AI integration patterns.
- Influence Elastic's product roadmap based on gathered technical signals from partners and customers.
- Own technical and strategic relationships with counterparts at OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for partner teams at OpenAI and Anthropic, and internally at Elastic.
- Build and manage executive-level cadences to align on progress and priorities.
- Keep Elastic's internal teams informed about partner ecosystem developments.
- Co-author joint solution briefs, technical guides, and co-branded content.
- Represent Elastic at AI-focused partner events, conferences, and community forums.
- Work with marketing teams to translate integrations into field enablement and customer-facing content.
Requirements
- 7+ years in technical presales, partner engineering, solutions architecture, or product management.
- Proven experience owning technical relationships with strategic AI or platform partners.
- Hands-on experience building prototypes and integration demos.
- Track record of influencing product roadmaps and partner priorities.
- Strong communication skills across various audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
