Responsibilities
- Design compound, end-to-end architectures orchestrating perception, reasoning, planning, and execution.
- Integrate diverse components like LLMs, retrievers, evaluators, memory systems, and execution agents into robust, scalable systems for dynamic enterprise workflows.
- Investigate governing principles behind complex system interactions, studying coordination, information flow, and emergent behavior across multiple agents and models.
- Identify underlying mechanics of robustness, composability, and alignment to establish design language for intelligent systems.
Requirements
- Experience building intelligent systems using models rather than solely training or fine-tuning them.
- Expertise in compound AI systems, agentic collaboration, and associated techniques (e.g., ensembling, ReAct, graph-of-thoughts).
- Proven track record of research results (publications, public work, etc.).
- Daily use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, and Perplexity to accelerate personal workflows.
- Strong programming and data analysis skills to build prototypes and conduct experiments.
- Bias towards demonstrating practical AI applications over theoretical concepts.
