Datadog is seeking ambitious leaders to drive the growth of its Database Monitoring product, which is expanding beyond traditional monitoring to include self-healing capabilities powered by AI. The role involves building and developing engineering teams, collaborating closely with Product, and launching new features that deliver significant value to developers. This position is ideal for AI-forward leaders with product engineering backgrounds who are passionate about owning business lines and scaling exceptional teams.
Responsibilities
- Launch new products and businesses into new markets.
- Drive adoption and business outcomes using customer feedback and product data.
- Develop strategies for market penetration to ensure the product is a standard tool for database users.
- Own the roadmap for the Database Monitoring product, with a focus on AI features and developer needs.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering managers and staff engineers across different regions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience partnering with customers to refine product experiences and find product-market fit.
- Experience leading go-to-market strategy and driving adoption and commercial success.
- Proven track record in scaling product engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Experience deploying applications on Postgres.
