Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an engineering team, establishing technical direction and high standards for ownership and execution.
- Own the roadmap and execution for source code indexing, PR Agentic Reviewers, shift-left work (code-writing agents), and closed-loop feedback/evaluation systems.
- Set team product strategy independently and partner with company-wide product teams.
- Build and operate scaled LLM and agent software in production, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, tool-use layers, prompt/eval tooling, and evaluation systems.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical direction.
- Drive AI-native development practices, focusing on safety, validation, and increasing agent autonomy.
Requirements
- Experienced engineering manager with a track record of shipping products with direct customer interaction.
- Hands-on experience building scaled LLM software, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, prompt and eval tooling, harness and tool-use development, and closed-loop evaluation systems.
- Strong product and customer mindset, prioritizing problem-solving and rapid iteration.
- Comfortable setting product strategy in ambiguous environments.
- SDLC and developer tooling background is a plus, but strong AI and agent experience is prioritized.
