About the job
This role focuses on engaging with CTOs and VP-level engineering leaders to guide them through the evolving AI landscape. You will partner with Field Engineers to develop enterprise-wide AI adoption strategies, focusing on problem framing rather than hands-on implementation. Additionally, you will act as the external voice of the customer, relaying high-level insights and challenges to Cursor's internal product and go-to-market teams. A key aspect involves leading architectural discussions about evaluating Cursor at a systems level, adapting narratives to various customer technology stacks.
Responsibilities
- Engage with CTOs and VP-level engineering leaders to navigate the AI landscape.
- Partner with Field Engineers to design enterprise-wide AI adoption strategies.
- Act as the voice of the customer externally, feeding insights back to internal teams.
- Lead architectural conversations around evaluating Cursor at a systems level.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an engineering leader, principal architect, or platform leader in complex organizations.
- Deep understanding of modern engineering organization structures, developer productivity challenges, and AI/LLM tooling.
- Exceptional external-facing executive presence and ability to connect technical capabilities to business impact.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
